Maybe They Will Sing For Us Tomorrow
Description:
Medium & Materials: Experimental chemigram on fine-art photographic paper, one-of-a-kind original, signed and dated, not a print or reproduction.
Dimensions: 17.7cm x 24 cm
About the Work:
“Maybe They Will Sing For Us Tomorrow” is part of my ongoing practice exploring material transformation, impermanence, and the interplay between control and unpredictability. Using the chemigram technique, where light, chemicals, and time collaborate, I allow chance to intervene in the visual outcome, making this work a fragile record of process and time.
Why This Piece Matters:
Owning “Maybe They Will Sing For Us Tomorrow” means possessing a unique material-experiment, a singular trace of light, chemical reaction, and artistic intent.
Its size and material make it ideal both for intimate viewing (as part of a home art collection) or as a complement to larger works (paintings or sculptures), offering a subtle counterbalance of delicacy and conceptual depth.
As a stand-alone piece, it offers a quiet, introspective experience; as part of a collection, it suggests the breadth of my medium-spanning exploration, from chemigrams and paintings to glass and marble sculptures.
Collector’s Note:
This is not mere decoration, it is an experiment in perception, materiality, and process. By owning this work, you acquire an artifact of a transient moment in its unpredictability and depth.
Presentation & Shipping:
Will be shipped flat, carefully protected between acid-free backing boards and archival tissue, in a rigid envelope or custom packaging to ensure safe arrival. Framing upon request possible (framing cost additional).
